We took out a wall (plaster & lathe—no kidding) and opened up a room into a gorgeous new kitchen. The new owners LOVE IT. Frankly, so do we.
This wall had to go. This side of the wall had to go too :) This beam is filling in for the wall's supporting role. Tear-out complete, ready for sheetrock What a difference a couple days make What a difference no wall makes. this side of the wall is also gone. Looking good, no?
